March Makan Madness – Event Management Singapore
One thing that we know for sure is that Singaporeans love to makan! As part of our event management services for HDB malls, the LolliBox team planned and executed the March Makan Madness campaign that took place concurrently across 13 HDB malls over a 2-week period!

1. Custom Virtual Game
One of the best ways to keep your audience engaged is to actively involve them in a fun game! We conceptualized, developed and launched a custom virtual game as part of our event management services for HDB Malls titled, “Makan Madness”. All players had to do was collect the fast-moving food items to earn points and stand a chance to win attractive prizes.
What made the game particularly enjoyable was the use of well-loved and well-recognised local dishes that kept players’ eyes glued to the screen and their stomachs growling! Check out the gameplay here –
2. Social Media Campaign Management
Aside from a virtual interactive game, we included a social media campaign as part of our event management service to help get the word out and boost interest and likes for our client’s Facebook pages. In March Makan Madness, many enthusiastically participated in the simple games posted on Facebook to win enticing vouchers.
3. Gift Redemption
It’s no surprise that Singaporeans love free things as much as they love to makan! The gift redemption was a hit at the HDB malls – by meeting the minimum spending requirement, shoppers could redeem either a useful mug, collapsible lunch box, or portable cutlery set. What an effective way to engage your audience and make them happy!
4. Event Design and Fabrication
Aside from our virtual/online components of this event, we have our on-site efforts as well. For HDB malls, we created standees and floor stickers to catch the eye of shoppers at participating HDB Malls so that they can be enticed into take part in the rewarding activities.
4. Overall Event Management / Execution
Lastly, to ensure that your event or campaign proceeds smoothly, we help to oversee the whole process as part of our event management! Aside from the components mentioned above, our team trained and provided manpower for the event for 13 locations, ensured that all props are installed//tore down properly and handled, managed and coordinated the redemption of prizes from the virtual game and the FB contests as well as consolidated post event reports such as marketing statistics and more.
