1. Singapore Botanic Gardens
You get to see to an array of botanical and horticultural plant collection. The thousands of plant species which include many rare specimens, reflect the richness and diversity of plant life.
2. Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
One of the largest tracts of primary forest left in Singapore. You can take a walk along the winding forest trails covered in dense tropical foilage and see a variety of plants, insects and birds!
3. Macritchie Reservoir
A favourite venue for hikers, joggers and families. Take a walk around as there are small signages that carry snippets of information about the diverse plants!
4. National Orchid Garden
You get to see 60,000 Orchid Plants comprising 1,000 species and more than 2,000 hybrids. The vibrant collection keeps growing every year! Admission fee of $5 (adult). Free admission for children under 12 years old.
5. Bollywood Veggies – Organic Farm
Located at 100 Neo Tiew Road, Bollywood Veggies is your sanctuary away from the bustle of the city. As an organic farm, they do not use chemical fertilisers and pesticides and are the largest producer of bananas and papayas in Singapore!
