To teach young children about developing healthy habits, NTUC First Campus engaged the LolliBox Team to customize a fun-filled educational activity kit. The “Healthy Habits Start With Me!” kit was distributed to their body of preschool students.
For the customized kit, we worked hard to write three original nursery rhymes about Good Hygiene, Healthy Diets and Active Lifestyles that shared about the importance of these habits in a catchy and memorable way. These rhymes were accompanied by illustrations which tied the whole educational activity kit together cohesively.
For effective hands-on learning and crafty fun, the educational activity kit also included story puppets that the children could decorate and play with while learning through the rhymes. In addition, we also conceptualized and designed an enjoyable snap card game to further teach children these important topics through play.
The activities in this educational activity kit were designed such that young learners would be actively involved in their learning through a series of simple but engaging tasks. Additionally, these activities were also a way to promote parent-child bonding at home!
