To commemorate the opening of the Thomson-East Coast Line 2 (TEL2), we were engaged by LTA to design a one-of-a-kind craft of the TEL train for a craft video tutorial! The LolliBox team worked hard behind the scenes to create this train craft, going through many iterations to ensure that it was up to standard and looked as close to the new train as possible. We also filmed a second video tutorial which taught viewers how to upcycle their Knackstop MRT map memo pads into quirky and colourful coasters that they can use around the house!
To share these special crafts with others, we filmed and edited the pre-recorded video tutorials in house and ensured that the instructions were easy to follow for all ages. All viewers had to do was gather some recycled household materials and they could get started!
We packed the video tutorials with many fun facts about the new MRT line so that viewers were able to learn tidbits of interesting information while they were crafting, increasing engagement in a virtual setting. The videos were then uploaded onto LTA’s social media pages for everyone to DIY at their own time!
