Eco Friendly Crafts That Is Just In Time for Earth Day!

Eco-friendly. Sustainable. Upcycle. These are words that has overtaken the world. YES! Even the crafting world too! As our resources are finite, it is important to live sustainably. Here, we show you what crafts we created with that in mind! And if you think that eco friendly crafts do not look as good as brand new ones, just read on further!

1) Upcycled packet drink’s packaging into a long wallet

For one of our past events, we brainstormed hard to turn a YEO’s packaging into a double compartment long wallet! This eco-friendly craft does not look too shabby, right! Waterproof, utilitarian and even saves the environment – what is not to like?

2) External cardboard packaging into a table top foosball game

We bet you have a lot of cardboard packaging from all the online shopping that you do. Don’t worry, we don’t judge. Why not give those cardboard a second life by turning it into an eco-friendly toy? This is the perfect craft, especially if you have kids at home!

3) Yakult cup into a forever planter

With some creatively drawn flowers, pipecleaners and kraft rope, turn your used yakult cups into a pretty planter! Check out our tutorial here.

4) Cardboard / hard paper into a 2D camera

Another cardboard idea! Cut up these cardboard to form backings of your 2D camera! Draw and colour in your favourite scenes from cartoons, your neighbourhood or of your favourite country to visit!
