Hi Movie-goers!

Not sure if any of you managed to spot us when you were catching a movie at Cathay Cineplexes early this year? You might have spotted us at 2 of the Cathay Cineplexes events! We had so much fun and would like to share our awesome event experiences with everyone especially those who didn’t manage to catch us there!

Big on Fun, Big on Entertainment – Cathay Cineplex AMK Hub

We were part of Cathay’s Big on Fun, Big on Entertainment event for the reopening of their newly renovated theatre at AMK Hub. These events took place over 3 weekends and we were very glad to be a part of it – there were Customized Craft Workshops and other Fringe Activities as well!

Each event day brought about 3 different craft activities that were exclusively customized for Cathay.

LolliBox Events Management — Workshops & Fringe Activities

Day 1 – DIY Popcorn Plushie

Kids & families got to enjoy a fun craft activity by learning how to sew their POPCORN PLUSHIE, which they can hang on their bag. The children and their parents enjoyed the craft so much that we were fully redeemed! I guess everyone loves to have a popcorn of their own. ;D

Day 2 – Customized Glitter Tattoo + Plinko

Adding an extra element to the fringe activity – Glitter Tattoo, the team conceptualized a Plinko version where movie-goers will need to play the game to decide which glitter tattoo design they get. The glitter tattoo were specially designed and were based on the 3 different characters – Poppy (Trolls), Branch (Trolls) & Sonic!

So many movie-goers, young & old, came by to get themselves some glitter tattoos! It seems like wanting to sparkle up was not only for the young but the young at heart as well. 🙂

Day 3 – Sand Art Fun

Participants got the chance to create sand art masterpieces featuring Trolls! The children really enjoyed creating – You can see from the happy smiles on their faces.

There were also many other activities for the event such as Sure-Win Claw Machine, Photobooth & Cosplayer Appearances. It was truly a big celebration with lots of fun activities for all ages!

Roll with the Trolls – Cathay Cineplex Parkway Parade

The movie Trolls World Tour was launched early this year, which was why Cathay Cineplex decided to have a special activity for Trolls’ Fans to enjoy some fun time on 14 March 2020! The kids & families got to enjoy our Customised Sand Art based on the Trolls characters, Poppy & Branch.
