Celebrating Children with Children’s Season Workshops for all the little ones

Children’s Season presents a special opportunity to engage the building blocks of Singapore – our families, young and old. Through the years, this festival has brought about countless fun and interactive Children Season’s workshops and activities in participating museums all over Singapore!

Even with the pandemic, the efforts to engage the little ones did not stop! The 2020/2021 edition even presented mascots, “Ai Love Museums “ – a pair of grandson-grandfather pair that joins you on your museum trekking journey!

While we don’t know what the future will bring, we can take you back to our past Children’s Season workshops and activities conducted by the LolliBox team!

1. Asian Civilisation Museum’s Fun-tastic Fridays

For 2 years in a row, ACM conducted ACM Fun-tastic Fridays (the second year was brought back by popular demand!) where there was a host of activities to engage visitors to the museums! LolliBox customized a dragon plushie in line with their theme as part of their Children’s Season workshops.

2. Asian Civilisation Museum’s Children’s Season

Back in 2017, we were also engaged to create a craft based on their theme of “Ghost of the Net”. During these workshops, kids got to try weaving their own fish and creating a net home for them!

3. Eurasian Associations – Eurasian Fun Pack

In 2020, we created a Eurasian Fun Pack for Eurasian Association. This pack was provided for visitors of the museum and complemented their visit through the gallery. There were informative sheets, a 3D cardboard colonial home for crafting pleasure, paper dolls for dramatic play and more! All of which were customized and designed in house by the LolliBox Team!

4. Asian Civilisation Museum’s Scribe’s Table

During the pandemic, much of the Children’s Season workshops were conducted virtual or under pre-registered conditions with pre-pack materials. For ACM’s 2020 edition, they wanted a craft that featured their artifact which was a Scribe’s Table. Kids got to put together their very own 3D cardboard Scribe’s table that came with stencils to draw on their desired motifs!
