Construction Paper (assorted colours)
Let’s get our crafty hands started! 🙂
Getting the crown base right:
Lightly draw two working lines on the piece of construction paper – Draw one line at 5cm height and another above, at 9cm height. (9cm would be the height of the crown)
Repeat this step on a differently coloured construction paper.
Draw zigzag lines in between the two working lines on both pieces of paper.
Then, erase the working lines.
Cut out the crown shape!
Decorating your crown:
Now, let’s add some colours and design to make it uniquely yours!
Decorate both sides differently so you can have two designs on one crown 🙂
Add feathers on one and pompoms on another!
What they can draw on their crown is virtually limitless! Let their creativity flow and you may be amazed at the kind of patterns they can create. For younger children, stencils may also come in handy. 🙂
Putting the crown together:
We can’t wait to put on the crown! Let’s put some glue to connect the two sides together!
There you go!
Now that your craft is done, its time to put them on and take some photos!
